Everyone has a story to tell, and it’s by asking questions and listening to these stories that we can build a better world. The Identity Map is a self-guided research project aimed at expressing my introspective insights visually.

By learning about myself, I ‘learn’ how to learn about others, and by telling a bit of my own story, I can help tell yours.

The Identity Map is all about asking questions and digging deep at what makes you ‘you.’ The process is analogous to ethnographic research, but instead we are our own subject, and so what results is a more authentic visual, but also a more empathetic approach.

The identity map is an array of images that highlight key opportunities for my growth as a designer and person, and more, it represents my methods of both listening and learning, and the ways by which I tell the stories of myself and others.
