Epilepteez
-
Epilepsy has been observed for thousands of years, but even so, it’s poorly understood and heavily stereotyped. Only 25% of Epileptics experience convulsive seizures, and less than 4% have seizures triggered by flashing lights.
Epilepteez is my personal project created to support people with Epilepsy through fashion and factoids designed to uplift and inform. Being Epileptic myself, I use my role as a designer to rewrite society’s misshapen narrative towards Epilepsy.

The vision of Epilepteez comes from a place of empathy and responsibility. Studies have repeatedly shown a general lack of knowledge and understanding of Epilepsy, often causing people like me to feel unseen and unheard. It was these shared stories and experiences that drove, inspired, and shaped Epilepteez.

True to the name, Epilepteez lives primarily as a series of tees designed to educate, empower, and entertain. It’s vibrant visual identity and electrifying spirit give it an audacious voice that reframe Epilepsy as a condition to take pride in, and one that people can figuratively, and now literally, wear on their sleeve.
